Three-piece demining probe

The three-piece demining probe is a classic piece of engineering equipment and one of the most important tools used in mine-clearance operations of any complexity.

Product features and description.
The probe consists of three sections of different lengths, a blind through-collet attachment and an attachment that holds the working tip at a 30-degree angle.
The three sections allow the probe to be used while standing, kneeling or prone. Different section combinations let the EOD operator assemble a tool suited to their individual measurements.
The materials used provide significant operational advantages:
Low weight supports extended work while preserving maximum sensitivity. The construction provides excellent transmission of vibration feedback to the EOD operator.
Non-magnetic materials do not distort the magnetic background or reduce metal-detector sensitivity, improving both efficiency and safety.
Full-dielectric coupling inserts reduce the risk of injury from induced electrical current or direct current transfer when touching live structures.
Interchangeable working tips made from materials with different physical and magnetic properties adapt the tool to different soils.
An end cap fits any section to prevent dirt and moisture entering and provides a comfortable surface for pushing the probe into the ground by hand.

The supplied microfibre cloth is intended for cleaning the probe and working tip.
Its miniature carabiner allows it to be attached to equipment during work for cleaning hands or tools in European soil conditions.

The transformable carry pouch stores, transports and supports use of the product with different equipment configurations. It can fit inside a packed bag without rearranging equipment or be mounted externally on a backpack.
A deep utility pocket carries additional compact tools used with the probe.
The water-resistant pouch includes drainage eyelets for ventilation and drying.
